My wife took delivery of hers last Friday in Charlotte, NC. She actually didn't order it, they happened to have one already ordered that matched her specs. But we still had to wait about 6-8 weeks.

She loves it.

Hi everyone. I've been looking at the new XC60's and my dealer said if I ordered, it would be about an 8-10 week wait. That is not too bad. I've ordered BMW's before a waited longer. I was fortunate enough that they had a beautiful Fusion Red w/Amber interior T5 Momentum just waiting for me. I'm trading in my 9th BMW to go with the Volvo. (Wish me luck) I take delivery tomorrow. Excited.

Default Rear signal indicators

Is anyone else disappointed that Volvo has gotten away from the amber indicators?

I am. I like amber better. It's more European looking.

What are thoughts on getting an Extended Warranty on a new xc 60. Just got it this week but wondering about the warranty now or waiting till getting close to 50000 miles. Thoughts?

I will probably be inclined to wait until I am approaching the end of the basic warranty period to see how reliable the vehicle has been. The extended warranty is expensive & my experience over the years has been that I have not had any major problems with numerous cars including 6 Volvos. I do closely follow manufacturers' service recommendations. I don't know what the cost difference is between buying the warranty now & waiting, but my guess is that if I am concerned about major issues (engine, transmission, air suspension, etc) that paying several hundred dollars more at a later date is still a good investment if I feel the warranty is needed. And if not, I have saved that money. Obviously, like any insurance policy (that's what the extended warranty is) there is risk involved & everyone judges their own risk & makes a personal decision. No decision is wrong at the time. We only judge such choices with hindsight depending on whether we needed the insurance or not. The only difference is that today's cars have more complicated & expensive components than previous generations of vehicles.

I ordered my T6 R-Design fully loaded with the 22 wheel pack and polestar in early January. It is due in mid May.
The countdown is on!
