Default 2019 volvo xc60 T5 R-Design Rotor size

Hello, I'm a first time Volvo owner and just recently traded my Alfa Romeo Stelvio for a XC60 R-Design. My new to me XC60 needs front rotors but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what size to order.

It looks like there are two options...18" and 19". My car has 21" wheels, but from what I can tell the wheel size isn't an indicator of the what rotor size the car is supposed to have.

What determines the rotor size?

With the VIN number a dealer parts guy (or someone more versed than me with access to a VIDA subscription) can tell you what rotors are on the car. You can use that Volvo part number to hopefully figure out what aftermarket rotors to purchase. Or you can remove a wheel and look for a part number - on one of my recent Volvos 336 was stamped on a caliper? i believe, indicating 336 mm rotors.

What good or bad things can you say about your previous car - the Awful Aroma? (that's what happened when you decelerated in the early 70's cars, oil fumes back up in the intake - did many ring jobs from the top on the 2 liter motors)

I had a 2018 Stelvio TI and I loved it, no awful aroma. The best part is the driving experience, it's just flat out fun to drive. I had zero issues with it, but the warranty expired and I didn't really want an Alfa without a warranty. The worst thing about it were the seats, they weren't comfortable for longer trips. If I had to do it again I would have gotten the TI Sport which has more bolstering and a tilt function.
