2019 XC60 rear sunroof drain
Hi,
I have discovered a huge puddle of water in my 2019 XC60 rear battery/side panel compartments. There was a good 1/2 in of water in there. I found this when looking for a musty smell in the vehcile.
After lots of tests, it appears that the rear sunroof drains are clogged. However, because this model has the full sun/moon roof, I don't see anyway to inspect the rear drain entrance and I can't find where it exits the vehicle.
Does anyone have clean out procedures for this and preferably a video somewhere that walks me through what to do?
thanks

If you have a panoramic sunroof that retracts and opens, then the drains are not accessible without removing the sliding window panel. Your best bet is to take it to a Volvo workshop (ie, dealer) to have them cleaned out. Also, if you park your vehicle outside and the front of the vehicle is even slightly more elevated than the rear, the rear drains will end up doing most of the work draining the water that gets in. If at all possible, park so that the vehicle is completely level, or else the back is slightly more elevated. This will result in the front drains doing the bulk of the work. Those front drains are easily cleaned.
