2022 XC60 - Google Infotainment
Hi all! I am a new member and new to Volvo! We bought a 2022 XC-60 knowing that some of the features would not be available on the new Google system such as Car Play etc. There are some features that I would love to see sooner than later such as the ability to auto-unlock the doors when I press Park, remote start, and the ability to turn off stop-start. Is there any way to track when updates will be released? I really like to updates but it is still very incomplete.
Also, I have issues with the car's WiFi. It can "see" all of my neighbor's WiFi signals but not mine, which is in no way weak in the garage. Anyone else have this issue?

I have the same issue with my home wifi. The car picks up all of my neighbors signals but not mine. I always have a strong wifi signal on other products (roku, laptop, sonos) i use outside. Ive tried parking my car in several different locations in my drive and ive never seen my wifi as an option.
Winter is right around the corner here, they better have remote start worked out before the temps drop too much.

May I ask what version of the software you all currently have?? I am becoming afraid of the 1.7 update as my 2022 XC60 is performing rather nicely right now with the vs1.6. I would love to have some of the new features (SiriusXM for instance) but don't want to experience the issues above.

I got brave and installed the 1.7 update and so far, everything seems to be fine. I do need to test more systems on a longer drive. I did notice that the Google voice assistant doesn't know what to do with SiriusXM....she can't make a request to go to Channel XXX or a named news channel happen. I will continue to research what might work for SXM but all other voice commands were quickly handled.....I am beyond relieved.
