2022 xc60 LKA symbol confusion
2022 XC60 B5, Android entertainment system v1.7. LKA (Lane Keeping Assistance) is enabled.
When Pilot Assist is off, and speed is above 65km/h(?), LKA symbol on Driver's Display is in white color, this means lane lines are detected.
When Pilot Assist is on, on the same road, LKA symbol immediately changes to grey color, according to owner's manual, grey LKA symbol means LKA is enabled but unable to detect lane lines. Turn off PA, LKA symbol becomes white color immediately.
Turning on PA should auto enable LKA at a low speed of 20km/h, I am expecting white LKA symbol too but why it shows me a grey symbol which looks like telling me the car is self-driving but it can't detect lane line hence it may not be able to keep itself in the middle of road?
Is this by design? or software bug?
