I've had this new XC60 since December and still cannot smoothly start from a dead stop. Even with very slow and easy starts the car seldom speeds up smoothly and often has sudden bursts of acceleration.

Is this inherent in the XC60 or is there something possibly wrong with my vehicle? I've never had this problem with another SUV before.
