Has anyone had an issue with your recharge auto accelerating? I知 hoping to learn I知 not the only one.

 

If you're talking about when the cruise is set and say; it slows down because of a slower car in front. Then that car is faster or changes lanes, if the coast is clear then the car will accelerate to the set speed unless another car gets in front of you at a slower speed. It's supposed to do that.
If something else, then you have to be more specific.

 

I touched the accelerator to back up and the car sped up backwards and went through my garage. I barely had touched it. It auto accelerated.

 

Never heard before.. 😕

 

I was thinking about your question while driving yesterday and a possible answer came while leaving a traffic light. If you've never had the 'auto hold' feature before and it is enabled on your car, that may be the issue. Auto-hold will keep the car from rolling while stopped until you give it gas. When it's not enabled, the car will generally start rolling when you take your foot off the gas. When it is enabled, you'll have to give it just a bit of gas and that may make it surge. Something you should get used to and decide if you want to use it. You can turn it on or off in your settings.

On xc60 2022 version we have option to enable/disable creep mode.
creep mode on the car will start rolling after depress the brake.
creep mode off the car will not roll unless you press the accelerator pedal.
also can be mistake on gear...
once the car is started the default step to reverse is push
and to go forward is pull twice the lever.
