I have noticed some activity on this issue with regards to other Volvo models. So, I'm hoping for a little help before I take it to the dealer today as the car is no longer under warranty. When we got back from a two week trip in May, my car was dead as a door nail. After that, the rear passenger window wouldn't open, I couldn't get the beep to tell me the doors were locked, etc... I tried resetting everything, but no luck. I took it to the dealer and it took them all day to figure out whatever caused that and said the battery was good. Since then, if I drive my car to and from work only (4 miles each way), the battery goes dead nearly every time I try to start it. It eventually starts, but I get all these warning lights about the air bag, power steering, etc.. and again, the window won't open, locks won't beep, lights won't stay on after I lock the car, etc... So, I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and knows what might be draining the battery. This has been happening for a few months now and I haven't had time to leave the car with them until now.
