Cornering, handling, sloppy rear end
I have recently switched from a 2007 s60 T5 to a 2010 XC60 T6. Needed more winter ground clearance and the fourwheel drive doesn't hurt either. I have noticed that the rear end is kind of loose, sloppy when taking tighter corners such as on/off ramps. The rear end pitch is pretty bad. I have Pirelli 235/60R80's on. Had the vehicle checked end to end and replaced front springs a bunch of bushings. Asked about a stronger stabilizer bar but the mechanic didn't think it was required. Suggestions or experience?
Also sometimes, when the road is rough - and it frequently is here in Québec, the rear end starts to dans around in some kind of sympathetic oscillation, a little like what can happen on motorcycle front ends. The first time it happened i had a pretty major adrenaline rush. fortunately the dansing stops pretty quickly if you simply take your foot off the gas. Any one experience that?
