Default does anyone trust the electronic dipstick?

I have only had my oil changed once and have another 3000 miles to go on this change and for both of them the electronic dipstick has not shown any change. It is always just below the "a" in the word MAX. I'm beginning to not trust the reading. I've checked it on an incline and it has not changed. My next test is to park sideways on an incline.

It is not totally linear. The car will tell you if you are low on oil.
