The update is nothing but numbers added to speed meter and rpm meter. Still same ****.

 

Everyone:

• The TA never resets the way it should
• There are no "drive modes" as indicated in the instruction manual
• The remote start and climate controls never work from the app
• The cellular connectivity is spotty and drops for no reason
• The button that used to appear in the middle of the reverse camera screen to switch to surround view doesn't appear anymore but if you press where it used to be you'll get surround view
• etc.

Volvo

• We made the map on the driver's display smaller so now you can see the numbers on the speedometer and tachometer.

 

It is unfortunate after all complaints around the world, to see that the new update is just a graphic design update

The Google Software has dozen of bugs and also wrong design, that causes troubles to daily driving.

Ps: I am more than one month now without access to Volvo On Call, so I have lost 90% of Smart features of the "Smartest Car Ever". It looks pretty dumb to me lately !!

I hope that within next week all will be fine (according to service promises), otherwise legal procedures will start.

 

In the new design I lost the battery indicator.
with previously design you could see if car is working with battery (battery icon) or with gasoline (drop icon).

Now only drop icon is available on tachometer, no matter which driving mode is active.

But the drop is now moving around the tachometer with a logic that still I cannot understand.
It moves from the middle of the tachometer to the top. If I am not wrong is not moving to the bottom at any case.
