Default Is it fixable

Just had old lady hit my car it’s a 2015 plate was in mint condition 36k miles car wouldn’t move due to drive shaft being hit and no longer going into gearbox is that a big job as you can see the rest of the damage on photos

that's that the insurance adjuster will tell you. It may depend on structural damage - ie bent framing. If the wheel took a direct hit, it could have popped out the drive shaft but they'd need to inspect for damage to the transmission. I would not be surprised if it winds up as a total :-( considering the book value of the car and the cost to replace all the damaged bits.

Default Total loss I think

Spoke to repair company today cost to repair is 14,400.00 absolutely gutted
