fob key not working?

fob key not working?
I just recently bought a 2015.5 T5 XC60 and for some reason I cant get my remote to start my car or open the lift gate ,or with the lift gate If I have the key within proximity does it open the door without unlocking . I am new to the volvo group.

Weak battery is the likely problem. Replace it with a new brand name battery.
