New owner here, simple question. I've read the manual about this but cannot locate the little symbol indicating the location of the jack/lift point. While under the car I see metal two areas, one near the front wheel well and the other near the rear where a jack could be mounted. Correct? Thanks.

 

are you looking for the location to use the car's own jack or just a safe place to use your own bottle or floor jack? the jacking points are on the underside of the rocker panels about 6-12 inches from the wheel arch. The jack will have a slot or similar mating surface - take a look at that then look under the rocker on the welded seam of metal - you may see an indentation or marking (diamond/arrow etc) on the rocker to point to where the jack point is. You may have to lie down to see it clearly...
