Hey guys...I'm usually in the 850 and 240 section but, will be spending time here soon. Just order a new 2013 XC60 for my wife about 2 weeks ago and will be taking advantage of the European Delivery Program. Picking up the car in Sweden 5/22. Shoud be an awesome experience!

 

Congrats. We got our 2013 XC60 last October. We thought about picking it up at the factory, but didn't have another car to use while we waited for it to be shipped over.

I am thinking about a new XC60 also and was thinking that it might be possible to have one built to US DOT specs, but with the steering wheel on the right like the ones for UK and AUS.

 

Just bought the 2013 XC60 with 145 miles and it is amazing so far

 

Quick Q for U? We purchased a 2014 XC60 in January and had the option of going over to pick it up but couldn't get away
My Q is did U really mean a 2014 vs 2013? Or R there still 2013's available to purchase overseas?

 

Unless the factory can go back in time, I don't think they are building '13's or 14's. Overseas delivery orders are all custom built, so therefore a MY '15 currently. I'll definitely do that next time around. Pretty neat deal!

 

The thread was started March 2013, so may have still gotten a 2013 for EU delivery.
