I had a C30 R-design before my Xc60 R-design! I did a lot of mods to it and enjoyed it thoroughly. I out grew it quickly because I have a three year old! I had lowered the C30 slightly and smoothed out the ride substantially by installing the Koni FSDs in that! The R-design look is what appeals to me most. The bigger wheels, cool badges , and interior! The ride however (especially on New Jersey roads) leaves little to be desired! So, I saw that Koni made a kit for the XC60. I am happy to say, that the ride has been completely reformed! It is like an ultra luxury ride! It's like, night and day! It is smoother, and quieter! The small stuff just disappears completely! The bigger bumps, you still feel but there is an extreme change in how it translates to the driver seat!
If anyone is feeling jarred by their R-design chassis, I recommend this modification highly! The list on the complete kit is around 1200. I found the whole kit for just under 600! They went in easily, (my dealer installed), but they did have to sand some of the paint off to fit the sleeve! Any questions just ask!
