Limp Mode
Hi all. I need some advice on how to handle this issue.
2018 Volvo XC60 T8 Inscription
On Sunday we had some pretty heavy rain and one of the front windows was left open. A decent amount of water got onto the center console. I dried it up and drove it with no issues. This morning after driving the car for about 30 minutes, the car went into limp mode, indicating the 12V Critical Battery issue, Transmission Error, Power Steering and Brake Failure.
The car does not have warranty and there is only one Volvo dealer in Puerto Rico and they are absolute thieves so I want to try and repair this myself.
Could this solely be related to the 12V battery in the cargo area or the water in the console...or both? I read that it could be the support battery but I don't think T8's have one. At least not in the engine bay.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
