Does anyone have recent out the door price examples from San Francisco region ?
I would love to have information about comparable prices before working with dealers.

I paid MSRP for a late-2022 at Walnut Creek in June. They took a higher deposit than other dealers requested when I reserved from their allocation. They did try to tack on a ceramic coat and a VIN stamping add-on (I refused the coating and got no push back, didn’t fight them on the VIN thing). They didn’t try any dealer mark-up on the sale price. I financed through my credit union, and they couldn’t beat the rate, so no issues at signing time, either.
I had also reserved a car at Marin Volvo, since I didn’t know which car would come through first, and when putting the deposit down, they did try and add a dealer markup to the expected price, but they dropped it as soon as I said “never mind, then”. SF Volvo was pretty straight up with me, too, but had nothing in their allocation that I wanted. McKevitt talked to me once, then stopped returning my emails and voicemails.

Personally I am in the CPO camp vs trying to negotiate a dealer. either way, try using a site like Autotrader to find a pre-owned/demo or new car that fits your checklist. Also keep in mind that you can buy from any dealer who's willing to offer a "web special" for somebody outside their market and still have the car serviced at your local Volvo dealer and get all the factory perks.
