Default New 14 XC60 Owner (Rims & Tires Question)

Just purchased my first Volvo, a 14 XC60 3.2 Premier Plus in Electric Silver with BLIS, Heated Front Seats, F&B Parking Sensors, & Metallic Paint. It was a demo with 6k miles got it for a steal of a price so couldn't pass it up. Loving the car so far but was thinking about switching out the rims, I was a teenager in the 90s so always want bigger rims

Has anyone switched out the stock 18" for aftermarket 20" on the XC60? What kind of an effect has it had on the drive? What is the widest you think I could go on the rims. I was looking at 20" Giovanna Kilis rims, thinking of doing 20"x8.5" in the front and 20"x10" on the back, would that even be possible to go that wide on the back? I saw them on a white XC60 (I have attached the image) and they looked great. If you have switched out your rims, please let me know which ones you got cause I am still looking for options.

Any feedback is appreciated. Looking forward to conversing with my fellow owners

I'm sure it would look great! Not sure about the ride quality impact though. Here in New England I'm definitely going to stick with the 18's since the roads are so bad. One good winter pothole would bend up a 20" rim in a hurry.

8.5" wide shouldn't be a problem, but you'll have to carefully measure if you're going to try a 10" wide rim in the back. Might be better off sticking with 8.5" on all 4 corners.

I had a similar question a few months earlier and received the following from Brant: "I have a XC60R and while the ride is a little more controlled with the 20" wheels the biggest problem I am having is inside rear tire wear. The dealer says it is a known issue with the 20" rim/tire combination and the suspension/alignment set up. No camber adjustment to offset this. Tires have cupped at 16K miles and are loud! (and yes they have been rotated) They look cool but unless you have a cheap source for tires I would not do it."
