Hi all,

I have a 2015 XC60 T5 2.0L. Last week we were driving down the interstate and after about 125 miles a message said that the engine performance was decreased, the car have a shake to it, and the check engine light came on.

I have replaced the spark plugs, the ignition coils, and removed, cleaned, and reordered the due injectors. When I clear the error is continues to come back as P0304.

I’ve haven’t found any videos or sites discussing this specific model and engine combination. What do you recommend I check next?

 

One of the first things you should have done is check the compression -

What is the compression? (you could have a burnt valve)

 

I don’t have a compression test tool, and if that’s the issue, I can’t fix it anyway. I made an appointment at the dealership for tomorrow to find the issue.

Autozone etc will also loan/rent diagnostic tools or you can try a quick trip to Harbor Freight if you have one near by.
