I have a 2021 XC 60 and was wondering how to check software version and is the discussed v2.9 going to be available for this model

Do you have the Volvo Cars phone app?
That can display the software version

I have a '21 and to my knowledge there is no way to know what version of Sensus is loaded on the car. The app just shows the version of the app...not the version of software in the car.
