We have a 2016 XC60 with a sun roof. It has worked fine and this AM I opened up the screen and then the tilt angle of the roof. When I went to close it, the button does not manuever the roof (not closing any of the roof or fully opening it.) I have tried (w/engine on) to hold the button and it clicks for 50 secs but then stops and no action happens.

 

Have you tried pushing the roof in the direction you want it to go while holding the button? That might get it started.

 

Thanks. I gave that a try but it doesn't budge. It sounds like there is a disconnection between the switch & motor; ie clicking but nothing else.
