Default Unable to adjust Tailgate Height

I have a 2021 XC60 and am unable to adjust the height of the Tailgate. When I manually position the tailgate to the desired height, I press and hold the close button for several seconds and never hear the two beeps to confirm the adjustment. Once I let go of the close button, the tailgate just closes. Has anyone else had this issue?

Were you able to set the height previously or is this the first time that you are trying to do this? Are you using the close button (not the close & lock button)? From the manual....

Setting maximum opening height
1. Open the tailgate manually to the desired
opening height.
2. Press the button on the lower edge of
the tailgate and hold it for about
3 seconds.
> Two audio signals will sound to indicate
that the position has been stored.
NOTE
It is not possible to program an opening
position lower than half-open tailgate.

Thanks, it's worked maybe twice in the year that I've had the vehicle. Using just the close button but have tried both to see if there is any difference. Haven't heard of too many people having this issue so may just be my vehicle. Something I'll show the dealer next time i'm in for service.
