Been driving a 2009 Acura MDX that I bought used and for the most part, has been an awesome reliable vehicle. Looking for something a bit smaller and after test driving a X3/X5, RDX, GLA the XC60 T5 Momentum seems like a super nice ride. Any downfalls? Some are still under warranty. Should I get extended or wait until the manufacturer warranty expires....or is an extended warranty a waste of $$$$? What about the other package offerings? I'm a bit confused as to what comes with what.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

My advice would be to look at all the reviews of that vehicle you can find before deciding.

I am considering a 2018 as my next purchase. That is, when I finally decide to get rid of my 2012. Which may be a long time.

Warranties also vary. Be sure you look very carefully at what any warranty covers.
