I think the software has Here (I believe Nokia software). I try to give directions to my street and I happen to live on 30 Avenue. It does not understand "Thirtieth" Avenue, nor 3 0 Avenue. The only way it understand 30 th Avenue, is if I say 3rd Avenue, then it shows me a selection of different avenues, and lucky me it gives me a list that includes 30 Avenue. Any advise on saying the correct way for pronunciation of numbers? I don't have any difficult accent, and my wife has no success either.
I do have finally, after many attempts, put in a home address. if I am somewhere else in the city, and enter to go home, it is really poor, and recalculating trip. I know the best way/and fastest to get home, but ends up really giving me some outlandish ways to get home, that totally go contrary to direction altogether.
Even when I finally get close to my destination (home). It says I have arrived, and it is approx ¾ block at least away.
Any of my phone gps is much more accurate, and quick to recalculate trips and directions.
Any advise or pointers that you can tell me about in regards to onboard GPS would be greatly appreciated. I will try using the voice control coach again, which I believe I had already used before,
when I first set up navigation
