Hi, my 2016, 2.4, XC60 r design sometimes stutters under acceleration and at low speeds. Have read that it could be the PEM. Where is the PEM. Has anyone got any ideas.

did you check the pressure sensor? are you getting any OBD2 codes? note there may also be a pressure regulator on the fuel rail - not sure for your model/year. On most cars the PEM is back by the fuel tank - have a look around for a "black box" with cables and it may have a triangular mounting bracket... You should be able to find a used one for under $100 if it turns out to be the cause.

 

Hi, no I haven't checked the fuel rail pressure sensor, I'm getting no fault codes what so ever. Its been getting progressively worse. Had all the boot to bits, back seat out. Its the AWD version
