Default Xc60 t8

I have a 2018 XC60 T8. I have been driving it about a month. I love it. I would like to drive the car with the gear shift in "B" instead of "D" all the time. The manual states that it will give me more "braking" as I decelerate. It does this, which I like. It, of course, also charges the battery more than being in "D" when you slow down. The feel is very much like driving a Tesla with regenerative braking turned on. The manual does not address any down side to leaving the car in the "B" gear all the time you are going forward. Should I run like this for the next 100,000 miles or more?

Does anyone know any more about this?

Thanks

This is PetalumaAl writing the reply...solution: I have asked Volvo and received two identical replies that state that you can drive your T8 in "B" 100% of the time and not hurt the car.
