Default XC60 T8 Hybrid 2020 Edition

Hey everyone,

I am new here. Currently I drive a Subaru Forester here in Sweden but we have decided to get some company cars and are going to order the new XC60 T8 Hybrid with all the trimmings in January (we are expecting delivery end of May as there is a long wait on the Hybrid models). We chose this for the 390HP and we get a tax break for getting Hybrids from the Swedish government.

I was wondering if anyone else has the T8 Hybrid yet and if so, is there anything we need to look out for?

This is pretty much the configuration although I might have missed a couple of things as I don't speak Swedish:

If anyone can think of anything we might want but don't have in that configuration I would be happy to get some feedback. I have gone for the Inscription and my co-founder is taking the R-Design but very similar options.

Took the 2019 for a Test Drive last week and it was a lot of fun, looking forward to getting this ordered in the New Year.

I have had a 2018 XC60 T8 Inscription for the last 6 months and absolutely love it. Great blend of comfort and performance (but don’t confuse it with a performance SUV, it is not). Have not gotten the fuel mileage I had hoped, but my commute is about 18miles each way, and I have no place to plug in at work, so I don’t get the full advantage of the plug in hybrid. I am a pretty heavy driver and have put over 12k miles on it in those 6 months. Love it!

I have not had any major issues. I do have to have the fuel filler neck replaced once I get a chance, I had some ice get into the latch from some heavy rains and flash freeze we got here in the states. It works, but sometimes sticks and then can’t get a fuel nozzle into the tank.

But if there were anything I would get rid of, it is the Orrefors crystal shifter... wish I could have gotten the Inscription without it...
