"ash gold"?
I realize beggars (or in this case, used car buyers) can't be choosers, but would anyone be willing to weigh in on this "ash gold" color for 2004 models?
I've found a great XC70 but am having a hard time getting over this color. It seems kinda tan in some lights, gray in others, and downright gold in others. This has reportedly been a very popular color for Volvo.
Is it really as gold as I think it is? I don't mind conservative, don't mind boring, don't mind "classic", but do mind gold -- just not me (no offense to gold-lovers. I'm sure there are colors I love that you don't
).
Any opinions?! Am I letting the name skew the perception of the color?!
The car is otherwise great.
Thanks.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My wifes XC 70 is white and I love it but she would like it if it were purple with green polka dots-lol. So I guess if you can live with the color and enjoy the car for what it is-go for it.BJ
