"W" and Driver side rear window defroster
I think this is the last question and ty for your earlier responses...incidentally, the "W" function seems to work after the car gets to 3rd gear or higher gear when in the "D" transmission mode, which kind of makes snese since all the function does is prevent the transmission from shifting to 1st and/or 2nd gear from idle at a stop....
Now, the question of the day...the rear driver side window has those small electrical strips as the rear window does....electrical defroster strips. The rear window (and the side view mirrors) heats up fine but the driver side rear window doesn't heat at all...so the fuse is OK and I don't find a seperate fuse for the driver side rear window...any suggestions? Thanks again for your help

According to the owner's manual, "W" is for wet or winter driving. When you select "W", the car will always start in 3rd gear to give you more torque. Since you're starting in such a high gear, you will launch much more slowly to give you better traction and to avoid wheel spin.
