Hi,

We just bought a 2001 V70XC and we're getting a hitch fitted to it. The uhaul service centre said that the hitch for my car is a V70 AWD hitch it doesnt list it as a V70XC. Is the V70 AWD basically the V70XC? I just want to make sure that the hitch will fit my car when i drop it off on Saturday.

Has anyone had a Uhaul hitch fitted to a 2001 v70XC?

Should be the same thing. U Haul does a good job, especially with hard to fit cars (Volvos are not one of them), and charges much less than the dealer.

Its booked for saturday. $240 including the hitch, wiring and fitting. Sounds pretty good to me.
