Hello all, I picked up a 2002 XC70 for cheap money.The body, Suspension, interior is in exception condition.
It has 150,000 miles on it. Although, there are other issues lol
Transmission has that dreaded flare, PCV system failed the glove test, so that needs to be replaced. Who knows if the timing belt and pulleys have ever been replaced ? The fuel pump was replaced, but the I was told from previous owner that the guy who did the work cracked the retainer spanner ring and sealed it up lol it's seaping fuel, my guess is that he didn't use the special tool. I plan on replacing the B4 servo cover, replace or rebuild the solenoids, flush, adaptation and software upgrade and hope that takes care of the transmission issues.
I have my work ahead of me lol but hopefully this car carries me a long time 😀
