2004 XC70 Headlight Bulb

My wife has a 2004 XC70 with the Xenon headlights. It is OEM, but a different set up than many 2004 XC70's. The bulb alone runs $120. Does anyone know an alternate bulb or a way to get around paying so much?

Are you sure the bulb is bad?
The ballast are known to go bad.
Sorry to say but those are alot more $$$ than the bulb though.

True! I lvoe Xenon and HID lights, but it scares me to think about the cost of a bulb or ballast when they go bad!
