Question 2006 Volvo XC70 Bi-Xenon bulb Replacement - Need help: How?

I have a 2006 volvo XC70 and I have a Low Beam Bulb Failure on my message alerts. Accordingly, my right(passenger) headlight is burnt out. I purchased a new 35W D2R bulb and attempted to change it last night. No Luck - There must be a special procedure or trick. Does anyon have some advice on how I might proceed? Do I have to remove the headlight assembly?

Did you ever find an answer to this one? I have the same bulb burnt out and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the old bulb out... well, I did get the old bulb out but it broke in the process, and I definitely don't want to risk breaking a $130 bulb putting it in!

Yes, I did fine a solution. The following link explains with pics how to disassemble the front end to access the bulb:

Wow, that is a ton of work! I actually got a reply from Art on the other board showing the instructions, and worked out how to do it without taking the front end apart:

Thanks for the reply!
