Hey all!

This may sound like an intermediate question, but Iwould like tobe positively sure of the correct answer. I would like to change my rim size to a 17" or 18" rim. Will this affect the AWD system?? I am aware if I do this, the series of tire will have to accomodate the ratio in wheel size. Stock for my car is currently 215/65/R16. If I change my rim size to 17" what series tire will be appropriate?? 55 or 60? ....and what series with 18"???

215/60R17 should be good since 07 can get in 17" in that tire size. dunno if u can change tire size in ABS setting though to compansate

 

I checked my Certificate of Conformity for my XC70 My2008 (should still work for your model I guess) issued for the European Union it says:

215/65/R16 or
235/55/R17 or
235/50/R18
