Cold Engine RPM Limited
The engine and transmission are cold. I start the car, and pull out of the drive way. I press on the accelerator and the rpm's of the engine seem to be limited to nearly idle. I press the accelerator pedal to the floor, still, no increase in rpm or speed of the vehicle. I am maxing out at about 15 or 20 mph. The anti-skid warning light is flashing. After about 1000 yards, the RPM's finally go up, the anti-skid warning light goes out and the car behaves normally. What needs fixed?
The anti-skid warning is from the brake sensor not being in the port. It was left out during maintenance. This appears to be the reason for the anti-skid issues which also leads to rpm governing of the engine/transmission.
