Default ETS light

For the last few days, I felt my car was not driving/speeding up smoothly. Yesterday the ETS light came on and the car was slowing down. I stopped at the roadside, started it a few minutes later, the warning light was gone butcheck engine sign is on.I managed to drive home. I understand ETS is the electronic throttle system. Does that explain why I felt different while driving the last few days? Do I have to change the module? How expensive is it? Is that covered under warranty?

Thanks.

If the car is still within factory warranty or under extended warranty yes it is covered and yes that is why it felt diffrent because that is what makes the car go there is no throttle cable it is all electronicaly controlled and they do go bad it will need to be replaced.
