Default First ETS light, then fine, now Engine light and shaking engine/no power

Hello guys/girls,

2 days ago my ETS light came on and the car drove normally so I decided to keep driving with it.
Yesterday night I took the car out and was glad because the light had come off so me being all happy I got on the highway and decided to go my ways. At one point, after driving normally, I dropped the car into 4th gear on the highway took it to about 5.5k RPM to pass some cars and after two minutes when I was going normal again my engine started shaking badly and my CEL came on.

First, I stopped at the side of the highway but luckily I got it off the highway and made it to a plaza 1 km away, where it's now sitting. The ride/engine was very shaky and the car had no power, most of the shaking occurred when I was pressing the gas pedal not if I let go and let it ride by itself(my car is manual). But even in idle/neutral it would shake. I don't want to turn it on, let alone drive it like this, to have my car shaking like a lizard it feels like all the screws would be loose in the car by the time I make it anywhere.

I have not taken diagnostics yet and will tow it tomorrow but wanted to ask you guys what you think?

Does this sound 100% like the ETM issue?
Have any of you guys sent it to Vic Roche to repair since it seems like the cheapest way to fix it, that's if I can take it out myself.

I will of course get the codes read.

Thank you in advance.
