Default Head light

I have a Volvo 2005 XC70, I had to replace ballast on head light,silly me i removed the adjustment, , on reassembly the ball joint end doesn't appear too connect, hence no adjustments on low beamhelp please

That seems to be a pretty common problem with the adjusters on many different volvos. It needs to be snapped back together, but can you get enough access? If you remove a bulb you could be able to pull the reflector with some reasonable force.

I've had an adjuster break as well - check with a dealer web store to see if they list a separate part.

Thanks for that information, but there doesn't appear to be much room even too remove lamp,is it possible too remove the lens, or is that not possible
Head light adjuster, does the adjuster control high and low beam

The bumper must be loosened to get enough room to remove the headlamp assembly from the car
the lens is glued on
Headlamp adjuster - a motor (#9) moves the angle of the bulb changing from low to high beam (projecting the beam further down the road)

The parts catalog does not show any internal parts being sold separately (other than the wire harness)

headlight I removed the complete unit, it was easier that way discovered the broblem easy fix when you can see it
