Looking for info on pricing of '06 XC70
Hello from western North Carolina. My 2006 XC70 was backed into in a parking lot, hit by the rear bumper of a large, tall pickup truck, damaging only the passenger side front quarter panel. No damage to hood or headlights. It has been deemed a total loss by the other driver's insurance company. I drove it home from the 9/27/22 incident and there are no issues with its operation and will pass North Carolina inspection as-is. Does anyone know how I can establish its fair value for sale in its current condition? It will need a new quarter panel (said by a body shop to be available) and wheel well (which fell off a few days after the incident.) I want to sell it and get something else but do not know how much it is worth or how to find out.
Thanks in advance for helping this non-mechanically inclined newbie.

try using the Kelly Blue Book web site (kbb.com). you can submit your car's miles/region/condition etc to get either a trade in value, a private sale value or a market price (dealer sale) value. KBB uses listed sales prices to determine market prices so its reasonably close. As another option, you can use national web sites like autotrader.com and see what similar cars have as their asking price.
