the wife and i are picking up our '02 xc70 wagon we purchased from a volvo dealer.its a certified car w/ 6 yr 100,000 mile warranty (from build date).have a question though..the salesman at the dealer told me that we he has to discuss some options for us but didnt elaborate.he did say we are not obligated in any way but its his job to offer them to us.what could this be?some kind of extended warranty?if anyone has any idea what this could be please chime in.and would i need any of this extra stuff?we havent bought a car from a dealer in over 5 years,so this is kinda new to us.1 more thing,when we told relatives about our purchase,their 1st reaction was,oh,volvos are expensive to fix.... well,i kinda knew that before i bought the car,but never had any eveidence.are these cars really that expensive to fix?all aside we are very excited about picking up this bad boy tonight,its like a dream come true.3rd seat,booster seats in the middle.everything we were looking for.any info would be great.
