Default timing belt replacement at indy shop

what can i expect to pay for a timing belt, idler, tension, water pump replacement at an indy shop? i know it will vary a bit. does anybody know what the labor time is for such a job? i figure it is about 300 bucks in parts. at least i can get them from fcp groton for about that. i am trying to determine if i should do it my self.

2000 xc se with 85k miles.

thanks.

Labor is about 3 hours for doing that job. Maybe 4 with doing the water pump and thermostat.

3-4 hours is about what i figured. i am thinking i am just going to do it myself. it seems to be pretty straight forward. i have done timing belts before on other vehicles. anything tricky here? i do know this is an interference engine.

The crank marks are a real pain to see.
There is 2 types. One has one little cut in the end of the crank timing pulley. The other has 2 cuts and the mark is in between the 2 cuts.
Other than that it is pretty easy.

The manual tensioner might also confuse you a little but if you read up on it then it should be pretty easy.
