Volvo xc70 stearing rack
To be honest, I don't really know.
I do know you can swap CV Axles and strut assemblies from XC-90's➡️XC-70's.
If you mark the old rack with paint, and transfer your markings to the new rack, I think it WOULD work, as long as the bolt pattern lines up. Make sure you have the same amount of exposed threads on your outer tie rod, then compensate for 2cm length difference by threading your outer tie one more turn.
Then see if a shop can align it. Don't tell them what you did because they may not want to touch it if you mention the swap.
May I ask why you'd want to this?

I kinda doubt it. Such a bugger of a job, you need to perform every step perfectly because you NEVER want to tear back into it after you have filled all the fluids and put everything back together only to find a problem, leak or otherwise. I have done two racks on xc70s, a 2004 & 2005 and even there, the one used threaded fittings and the other used the snap in type (which is rarer) But those lines are steel and not flexible so everything has to line up just right to even get the threads started. Buy a good rebuild rack from a good company for your exact car.
