Hello! I have a Volvo S60 01 manual petrol.

It needs a new rack ASAP. However, this is a turbo vehicle, and I’ve heard it’s a bit more difficult on a turbo.

What will block the steering rack from being pulled out? I.e except from lowering the rear of the subframe, what do I need to do to ensure that the rack can be pulled out, free of blockages. Any turbo lines that need to be removed? Anything else?

thanks for any insight! I just want to make sure I don’t lower the subframe without being able to pull the rack out!

Update: so far I’ve found that there are two transmission / gear shifter cables that needs to be removed. There’s also some o2 sensors that needs to be removed. Look up peppermint on youtube!
