XC70 2005, no power to radio/AUM
Hi
I have an issue where my radio doesnt seem to get any power, I have recently had someone to fix my CEM module as the wipers had stopped working. There had come water in one of the connectors, so a new connector was soldered on as it seemed like some of the pins were missing.
Now my wipers work again, but my radio has stopped working, no power at all to the radio unit. (note, i had to jump start the car since it was out of power after i reinstalled the CEM, i dont know if it has something to do with it).
Now the weird thing is i have tried to disconnect the battery for a while and then reattach it, then the radio boots up fine with the key in the ignition. However, as soon as i remove the key and then put it back in the radio is back to having no power. Does anyone have any idea what causes this?
Notes: Checked the fuse 28 on the CEM and also all fuses on side of dashboard, they are all fine.
The rear wiper motor also started acting up after the CEM fix, where it started to make a loud grinding noise, sounding like the motor tried to run but couldnt, I removed the fuse so that it would stop.
Also the interior fan has stopped working on all settings except max. Which should be the resistor but I find it odd that all these things came at once.
