You can remove the throttle body and clean it without doing anything else.

I would change the seal since it comes in the kit. It will only take about 20 minutes or so to replace it.

If you can look on E-bay for a program called VADIS that is pretty much a service manual for the car.

I opened and cleaned the intake pipe and intake system and followed it to the ETM but I found there is something else at the end of the intake pipe, is that the turbo unit? do I have to open that before reaching the ETM? What would be the best way to get to the ETM?

thanks

Saad

If you get that kit I linked you to above it will come with the seal and gasket for the turbo return line.

The throttle body is under the intake manifold. The turbo is at the back of the motor. Then throttle body is under the front of the motor.

No you can feel under the intake manifold and feel the throttle body.
Some people remove the cooling fan to get in there easy.

You should use a new gasket where it attaches to the intake but I have seen people reuse them since they are Metal.

I would assume vent box as well.

To get to the vent box I learnt I need to take out the intake manifold but if I take it out would I need a new manifold gasket? CAn't I use the old one ?

hi I found the source for the leaking oil, its from the joint of turbo return pipe. So the O Ring Kit includes that seal and gasket right? Just to double check...on that

Thanks

Unless they changed it recently it will all come in the kit.

The kit was designed for the S80 twin turbo cars but it is used for all of them.

You will have spare parts when you are all done.

There should be 3 black o-rings and a bunch of green thicker ones and a bunch of gaskets. Yes pretty close to the size of coins.

That should be what you need. But where did you order the kit from?
