Default '06 XC90 Headliner Separation

Noticed that the foam in my '06 XC90 Headliner was not "bouncing back" when pressed with a finger. Could it be a sign of impending Headliner Separation? I always store my car in a garage - Am in North Texas - So summers can be hot. Car has 90K miles on it. Any recommendations?

A headliner has no real functional purpose other than to look good. If you are not satisfied with how it looks anymore call local auto interior shops for a quote to replace it. Don't know about Texas, but they are on almost every corner in south Florida. Hot climes tend to cause issues with headliners.

Default Volvo 850 headliner sagging

We have 94 850 wagon and we noticed the headliner is starting to sag above the rear passenger seat and was wondering what methods there are to fix this. In other tutorials I see people taking the whole thing out which we do not want to do. Would making a small cut and spraying an aerosol glue in it do the job?
(Yes we know this is an XC90 thread but it is the only thread I found that related to our issue)

The previous own of mine has used thumbtacks to keep it up. They do seem to fall out, I wonder if upholstery tacks would work better?

Resurrecting this thread - Still no solution for the headliner separation situation - albeit it is slowly manifesting.

I have a current thought on this. Stitch witchery. If you haven't seen it, it was used by our grandparents to put patches on cloths. Now iron on patches have it just added to the back of the patch. I am wondering, if it would be easy to use a hanger, or yard stick to smoothly slide the SW into to place, and then to Iron it, upside down. I have priced it, just haven't acted on my idea yet. (fwiw, its available at all the crafts stores, (micheals, or joann fabrics, ...)
