Any thoughts on whether this vehicle can safely tow a 30' 9,800 pound boat? Thanks.

 

Yes it can. But I would use manual until you get a good idea of how it handles. Try to keep it above 2500rpm especially if you’re climbing. You’ll definitely be above the manufacturer’s Tow rating so if you do this and plan to do this often, I would certainly consider getting a bigger package like the xc90 V8 or it will take a major toll on the trans. Perhaps a trans cooler but I don’t know what your situation is.
