I have a 2003 T6 that is starting to give me some transmission trouble. When I am at a full stop and take off...I hear a banging/grinding noise. It only does this in first gear. Does anyone have any advice as to what it may be?

A bit late to the game here...but the T6s have bad trannies. Do a Google search. The fix is a new transmission, sorry for the bad news.. Check your fluid, it won't be that cranberry colour anymore.
