2004 Volvo XC90 Radio issues.. Help Pls
2004 Volvo XC90 Radio only comes on when the car is packed under the sun and is very hot inside. It doesn't come on when it's cold. It's rainy season in Calabar right now and I can't remember the last time the radio came on. I've checked all the radio mechanics in Calabar and they can't detect the problem with it. Pls any suggestions will be very much appreciated. I need help

So i've heard through the grape line that the 04 xc90's radio, if not working, will most likely need the Capacitors on the ICM to be replaced.
I have a 06 xc90 and I didn't have any radio issues but I bought an Android 10in off ebay and installed it myself. I had to buy an aftermarket wire harness but overall i'm very glad I did.
It cost me about $300 in total and about 10hrs of trial n error but I'm overly satisfied now. If you do end up going that route at some point don't hesitate to message me, I can prolly save you a headache or two.
I'll post a pic of the finished product if anyone wants to see. I was also able to add a backup camera directly to the Android which now makes backing up not so iffy.

Shoot at least yours comes on. Mine is completely dead. Tried to have an aftermarket installed some years ago and the installer didnt want to go near it. Some **** about how he cant bypass the factory amp under the passenger seat and didnt have the right wiring harness etc. I didnt haggle with him. Seems like it wouldve been too expensive but I would like to get the same factory radio at some point to replace it
